Notes and deadlines for Current Semester graduates
Are you planning to graduate this semester? Here are some important things you need to know:
- Check here for important commencement and graduation deadlines
- The deadline to complete a degree in any given semester is 4 pm on the first day of classes of the following semester (Academic Calendar)
- Completion of your degree includes successfully completing your defense and submitting all paperwork (dissertation/thesis/report and appropriate exit forms) to the Graduate School by 4 pm on the first day of classes of the following semester.

- Commencement Application Form— Complete this form six weeks prior to commencement in order to participate in the ceremony. (formerly known as the "Early Walk" form)

- Request for Permission to Teach Graduate Courses (for an instructor who is not a member of the Graduate Faculty )
- Request Funds for Graduate Applicant Campus Visit (This program has ended for AY 2007-08, but will resume in AY 2008-09 pending budgetary approval.)
