Aspirations Scholarship

Michigan Technological University is pleased to recognize exceptional students who have been selected as an NCWIT Aspirations winner or runner-up during their high school career who are planning to major in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, management information systems, computer network and system administration, or electrical engineering technology.

Award Value: Two students will be awarded a $1,500 one-time scholarship to be applied toward tuition at Michigan Tech should they enroll as a full-time student the fall following high school graduation.

Essay response: Write a one-page (300 word) essay or record and share a short video response—up to three minutes long—of you personally addressing the following topic:"How would earning a degree in a computing-related field from Michigan Tech allow you to use computing to create the future?"
